
Have Gun will Travel
I have been a fan of Have Gun Will Travel since I first saw it during the 1950s. It was the precursor of Kung Fu. In both cases the central character was "a knight without armor in a savage land." Both series also emphasized moral values through the central character's emphasis on helping those in need. Both series also had a distinct intellectual bent. In the case of Paladin the emphasis was placed on Western philosophy with quotable quotes by Paladin from major philosophers in conjunction with challenging ethical quagmires. Kane, the central character in Kung Fu and other characters such as Masters Han and Poe, also provided similar insights with an oriental thrust. In the final analysis, Have Gun Will Travel is one of the best TV series that ever hit the airways.

Best series of all time
In my opinion. While I can understand the thoughts above concerning pricing and split seasons, I'm just happy that we may actually get all six seasons completed by end of next year.
Paladin keeps on riding!
I am surprised and overjoyed that Paramount continues to release Have Gun - Will Travel so quickly now, just 1 1/2 seasons to go to have the whole restored set. Thanks, Paramount
